Exams at IH Dublin
At IH Dublin, we prepare students for internationally recognised English language exams, essential for education, employment, and immigration purposes.
Our Exam Offerings
We provide exams for all proficiency levels, from Elementary (A2) to Advanced (C2). All long-term students are required to take an internationally recognised exam to certify their progress.
The exams we prepare students for include:
Cambridge English Exams
Recognised worldwide by universities, employers, and governments.
- A2 Key (KET) – Basic level English proficiency.
- B1 Preliminary (PET) – Intermediate level English for everyday use.
- B2 First (FCE) – Upper-intermediate level English for academic and professional use.
- C1 Advanced (CAE) – High-level English for university and workplace settings.
- C2 Proficiency (CPE) – The highest level of English proficiency, proving mastery of the language.

A2: 14th June, 4th December
B1: 8th March, 10th May, 14th June, 22nd July, 22nd November, 4th December.
B2: 1st March, 12th April, 17th May, 14th June, 24th July, 21st August, 4th October, 8th November, 13th December.
C1: 11th January, 1st February, 8th March, 12th April, 10th May, 4th June, 5th July, 25th July, 22nd August, 6th September, 18th October, 15th November, 13th December.
C2: 7th of June, 13th of December
